The campground near the Vencavai Mill isn’t just a place where you can relax surrounded by nature on the shore of a lake; but also a destination for active leisure enthusiasts, travelers seeking harmony, and families looking for a cozy vacation spot. We’ve built a huge teepee—9 meters in diameter and 11 meters tall—and we’re already welcoming guests who want to sit by the campfire, listen to guitar music, or sleep in a Native American-style tent. We’re thrilled to open this wonderful space for all nature lovers. Come spend a long weekend at the campground near the Vencavų Mill! For those who enjoy active leisure, we offer hikes through the marsh and impressive bike routes that take you not only past the most beautiful spots in the Zarasai region but also through areas inhabited by hospitable and interesting locals. The exceptionally clear lake water attracts divers and underwater fishing enthusiasts from all over Lithuania, and for those afraid to dive deep, we invite you to enjoy the stunning sunsets over the water by paddleboard or kayak, or to explore the uninhabited island. For those seeking peace and relaxation, we offer a sauna featuring authentic ancient Lithuanian rituals, birch branches, and the aromas of wild herbs. Lake Vencavas is a true fisherman’s paradise. The lake reaches depths of up to 39 meters, so the catch can surprise even an experienced angler. Crayfish hunters will enjoy night-time crayfishing. Here you’ll also find volleyball and basketball courts, as well as a peaceful spot for stretching on a mat or meditating. We invite adventurers and those who aren’t afraid of heights to try spending the night in a treehouse right above the stream flowing into the lake: the stunning view of the lake and the soothing sounds of nature will leave a lasting impression on everyone. For lovers of culinary heritage, we offer homemade smoked cow’s milk cheese, sweet goat’s milk cheese, fresh beef from a local farmer, and eggs from our campground’s free-range chickens.
