If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in nature, we warmly invite you to a modern old-style farmstead —“Atostogos Grybiškėje”—located in the Gražutė Nature Reserve, on an 11-hectare private estate, far from major roads, with no other residents nearby, on the shore of the fish-rich Lake Asavėlis, which connects to the large Lake Asavas. The homestead is surrounded by forests and lakes connected by the Šventoji River. During the summer season, the homestead is rented out only as a whole. The first floor of the guest house features a spacious outdoor terrace, a fully equipped kitchen, a dishwasher, a dining room with a fireplace, a lounge area, and a bathroom with a shower. The second floor has two spacious, cozy bedrooms. One sleeps 3, the other sleeps 4. The bedrooms feature extra-wide alder wood beds for guests’ comfort. The lakeside house features a spacious outdoor terrace; on the first floor, there is a sauna, a lounge with a fireplace, a restroom, a shower, and a washing machine. On the second floor, there are two spacious bedrooms; skylights give the rooms a special coziness. Both bedrooms sleep three. One bedroom has a large window offering a panoramic view of the lake, where you can admire the lake, the sunset, and the breathtaking natural scenery while simply relaxing in bed. Near the cottage, there are bike trails that wind through forest paths and along the lake shores. Rest areas have been set up in the beautiful lakeside and forest clearings, where you can stop to rest, take a swim, and have a snack. For the convenience of vacationers, we’ve put together a guidebook where you’ll find ideas on how to make the most of your free time— perhaps visit a folk artist or woodcarver, go horseback riding or pony riding, visit a reindeer farm, take a plane ride, or explore an interesting spot, and more. If you’d like, we’ll smoke the fish you catch. We offer both active and peaceful vacations. Excellent conditions for families, couples, and small groups. We welcome guests from April through late fall. If you enjoy water sports and plan to kayak or canoe along the bends of the Šventoji River, be sure to stop by. You can stay the night, warm up by the fireplace, enjoy a sauna, and grill some meat in the outdoor gazebo. At the farmstead, you’ll find made-up beds, bath towels, and kitchen towels. In the gazebo, you’ll find firewood, skewers, and a grill.
