Description
The sculpture park was opened in the summer of 2008, when the Dusetos eldership and parish community joined forces to begin renovating the shore of Lake Sartai. The first sculptures were created by artists from the Dusetos area: Virgilijus and Violeta Gasparaitis, Romualdas Pučekas, Genadijus Kovaliavas, Algirdas Gaižauskas and Eugenijus Raugas. On 28 August 2008, the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, visited Dusetos and planted a young oak tree in the sculpture park. New works are added to the park every year during the traditional festival of people from the region.
