Description
Sėlių Square is a unique monument of urban planning. The square is distinguished by its radial layout (the streets radiating from it resemble the rays of the sun) and is the only one of its kind in Lithuania. A monument to Dr. Dominykas Bukontas (1873–1919), a distinguished public figure, stands in the square. Sėlių Square is the city’s most popular venue for events.
