Description
Zarasai Vocational School, near the town, invites residents and visitors to enjoy its green educational spaces. Designed for pupils' activities, they also offer pleasant walks. The school grounds have beautiful flower gardens, especially from June to September, and metal sculptures including a large ostrich, a ladybird and a giant spider. These are the joint work of teachers, staff and students interested in floristry and horticulture. The school participates in competitions recognising well-designed and maintained grounds. Plant labels help visitors learn what grows here. Tours of the green educational spaces and school buildings can be arranged for larger groups.
