The barn of Vasaknos manor

The manor of Vasaknos - former manor in Vasaknos village. The manor was bought and founded by the Grand Duke of Lithuania Trakai Castellan Jonas Radvila I in 1505. Later on, the Manor was managed by Jonas Radvila and his brother Mikalojus Radvila the Black. The Manor was bought out by counts Pliateriai in 1719, and by count Jonas – Mykolas Tiškevičius in 1828. The manor had a park with 5 ponds and walking alleys, which from 1958 was protected by state and in 1986 has been announced a national heritage site. Now the barn of the manor is restored and the hotel is founded in the barn. A brewery is founded in the former servant cottage.
