Sculpture Park was established in summer of 2008. The park is famous not only for it authors, but also for the oak, that grows there, planted by the Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus during his visit. Every year new works are erected during the annual festivities which are organised for local residents. The first sculptures were created by Dusetos artists, Virgilijus and Violeta Gasparaičiai, Romualdas Pučekas, Genadijus Kovaliavas, Algirdas Gaižauskas, and Eugenijus Raugas. On 28 August 2008, the president of the republic of Lithuania, Valdas Adamkus, visited Dusetos. During his visit, he planted an oak tree in the sculpture park.
